Last week, I decided to enter Mulberry’s Online Fashion Week competition on a whim. I entered this photo montage of some outfit photographs that Niran – his blog has the best photos and layout – kindly took for me during London Fashion Week, and ended up placing as runner-up, along with the ever beautiful Carrie. Needless to say, my Alexa and I were shocked and excited beyond belief, I never win so much as a weekly bet with the girls on a Strictly Come Dancing wager. (For the record, I’m backing Harry to win tonight!)
I came home to a little package of an Autumn/Winter ’11 tote, one up from the Fashion Week one I sport a lot, which is being given to my Mamabear by way of a thank you for spending over six hours in the car on Thursday to pick me up. Inside was a set of promotional postcards, which I’ll be framing for my room very soon, and a set of their seasonal stickers, which will adorn my dissertation folder. The main ‘prize’ was a bracelet, mine is a khaki green with the loveliest gold peace charm on it. I also received a fox masquerade mask, with velvet flocked detailing: seriously tempted to wear this to my 21st next year, which is hopefully going to be a Modern Masquerade Ball.
Thanks again Mulberry, you’ve absolutely made my year.
