‘Wonderstruck Enchanted’ is a more confident and sensual scent, as far as a Taylor Swift number can go. It is described as captivating, charming and confident, which I can agree with to some extent. I much prefer it to the original: this is less floral and fruity, and more musky and alluring whilst retaining the same feminine, ‘younger target customer’ feel.
An irresistible blend of wild berries and sugar-glazed petals with an addictive balance of creamy flowers and sensual woods which blend harmoniously and add an alluring quality to the fragrance. Notes include: wild berries, passionfruit, pink poppy, peony, champaca petals, white freesia, white must, vanilla and blonde woods.
As with Taylor’s last fragrance, ‘Wonderstruck Enchanted’ is not particularly long-lasting. I tend to spritz it on in the morning before work, and it has more often than not gone by lunchtime. I typically don’t carry perfumes around with me, so nowadays I reserve this for quick outings (my favourite – leaving the house isn’t high on my list of things to do!) or lazy evening walks (another favourite). It’d be well suited to people of all ages, and of course, the bottle is beautiful in a shimmering iridescent red, strung with bronze charms handpicked by Taylor. x
