For some reason, I always find it tougher to buy for the men in my life. Dad is almost impossible as he isn’t a man of material desires and my brother receives more Amazon packages than I do ASOS! And as for my boyfriend… we’re serial year-round gift-givers which means that come October/November time, we’re both panicking and cursing our early-year generosity! Having said that, I always manage to nail gift giving for the guys when I put my mind to it and so here are some of the finer picks for Dads, Uncles, grandfathers, brothers, other halves and the like…
Moroccan Neroli Shaving Duet (£53) – Aesop
As a veteran fan of Aesop, this shaving duet has been on my list of ‘things to convince my boyfriend to try’. The earthy, fresh fragrances and cruelty-free products totally sing to me and this kit would make a great addition to his bathroom.
Bleu de Chanel Eau De Toilete 50ml (£51.50) – Chanel
One of my favourite fragrances for men has got to be Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel. It’s one of those scents that says ’well-dressed man’ yet works just as well for daytime as it does the evening. Plus you can nab a handy 10% off your first order if you order yours through Feelunique. Alternatively, The Perfume Shop http://fave.co/2j8lL02 have an engraving service with purchases made through their site, which would truly be the cherry on top!
Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Gold Camera (£90) – Urban Outfitters
I think I include a different Fujifilm Instax camera in my gift guides every single year but they’re included for good reason – they’re a crowd favourite! Harvey and I use mine all the time and it’s a fun, non-invasive way to get involved in the photography fun when I’m trying to get the ‘gram. Whilst film is expensive, yes, there’s something incredibly magical about film photos.
Canvas Backpack (£65) – Alban Bike Bags via Etsy
Whilst browsing Etsy for a wallet, I came across Alban Bike Bags who handcraft beautiful bicycle backpacks. This canvas backpack is versatile, simple and durable with a water-repellent finish – equally as perfect for the city slicker as it’d be for the country lad.
Knitted Jumper (£62.04) – Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland is one of my favourite menswear labels; I love the clean, modern aesthetic and their pieces are always crafted from ‘clever’ fabrics. This knitted jumper is a great option for seeing him through the rest of the winter.
Wooden Wallet (£11.78) – SKEGGOX via Etsy
I bought my boyfriend a wallet for our one-month anniversary ages and ages ago and he always berates me for the fact that it doesn’t have a change pocket. So I set to work looking for a nice wallet with a coin pocket (I swear they don’t exist, bar the Gucci offerings) and ended up ditching that idea in favour of this awesome handcrafted wooden wallet from SKEGGOX. Made from wood with engraved details and an elastic fastening, this is such a suave design that’ll easily slip into coat or jean pockets.
Caffeine & Gasoline T-Shirt (£29.99) – P&Co.
Whilst browsing P&Co. for something to add to my boyfriend’s wardrobe, I came across this Caffeine & Gasoline tee, which I think is so cool for a casual, off-duty look. Their T-shirts come in Kraft paper cylinder tubes with awesome branding – perfect for a stocking filler.
Dirty Shaving Cream (£6.50) – LUSH
LUSH is hands down one of my favourite cruelty-free brands and their Christmas gifts are a total dream. This Dirty shaving cream looks like a super luxurious way to add to their grooming routine.
S’well 17-Oz Dark Moss Water Bottle (£35)
Finally, this S’well water bottle is something that’s already made it to Daisybf! I chose the ombre shimmer version but this dark moss bottle will look incredible on their desk, in their backpack or at the gym. S’well bottles keep beverages cool for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12, making it a dream for those who’re on the go.
