To finish up gifting fortnight on Daisybutter this year, we’re talking presents for your furry friends. How could I not include some gift ideas for pets?! Milo has already got a gift or two to pop under the tree – ours is going up at the weekend! – as well as his advent calendar, so I thought I’d round up a few luxury extras to treat your very good boy to this Christmas…
Lily’s Kitchen Advent Calendar (£10) – Pets at Home
This year, Milo has the indulgent Lily’s Kitchen advent calendar for dogs. Themed ‘Fireside Treats’, it’s a beautiful calendar that features an array of treats, including Rise and Shines, Organic Cheese and Apple Training Treats (these are Milo’s favourites!) and Bedtime Biscuits. It’s made for adult dogs and the ingredients are all nourishing and of the highest quality. It looks SO sweet perched on the side in our front room and I’m sure Milo is as excited as we are to crack into it.
Danish Design Tweed Dog Coat (from £9.99) – Pet Planet
We recently picked up this coat from Danish Design for Milo and it has been an absolute dream to use! He gets quite muddy on his walks, particularly around his belly, and this one wraps all around the body with having to be secured on their legs. He looks oh so handsome in his one and it’s lightly padded for a cosy wear.
Pet Head Oatmeal Paw Butter (£4.99) – Pet Head
A luxury winter product, this paw butter is one of our house favourites in Milo’s grooming routine. It’s good to apply before and/or after walks to protect their feet but it’s also a lovely product just to pamper their paws with.
Cactus Print Harness (£19) – Etsy
We’re big fans of harnesses in the Chai household as they’re easier on the neck and assist a little if your dog is prone to pulling on their leash. I’m a big supporter of independent boutiques and so this handmade cactus print harness – I know, be still my beating heart! – instantly won all of the points for me. So sweet.
Elevated Bowl Stand (£41.95) – Etsy
Another extravagant treat for your good boy, elevated bowl stands are a proven way to alleviate back strain for your furry friend. These handmade ones on Etsy feature stainless steel bowls and would beautifully complement any home.
Cloud 9 Tweed Dog Bed (£228) – Amara
I’m a big fan of Amara and so when I spotted this tweed dog bed from Cloud 9 on there, I knew it had to make its’ way into my gift guide! Milo is a big fan of using beds with sides to rest his head on (I’m sure you all know he loves resting his chin on surfaces!), and this looks SO ridiculously comfortable.
Petface Raccoon Squeak Toy (£4) – Sainsbury’s
Last but certainly not least, these squeak toys from Sainsbury’s own range are Milo’s favourite toy. He genuinely can’t be without one and he’s been through several already as he constantly hides them in the garden or underneath furniture. They’re affordable and guaranteed to become their new best friend.
