With spring almost in the air and days finally feeling longer, there’s a real buzz about the community at the moment and it’s not just because of those MySpace-esque quizzes floating about on Instagram Stories. I, for one, am absolutely loving it! It’s more difficult than ever to discover beautiful blogs to pore over for an entire evening and instantly hit ‘follow’ across all platforms and I’ve found countless new people to follow simply by reading posts similar to the one I’m penning now.
Without further ado, let me introduce you to a handful of my favourite bloggers, Instagrammers and YouTubers at the moment…
In My Sunday Best
Sade’s blog is one that I constantly gravitate to if I want to feel inspired to live and motivated to write. Her blog is a lifestyle moodboard of sorts, full of style features and think-pieces in between other content and each is as carefully considered as the next. In My Sunday Best is one of those blogs where I like to ‘save the post for best’ and make sure that I’m completely focused when reading through, rather than simply reading it on the move.
Cupful of Kale
A newer addition to my blogroll, Cupful of Kale is a vegan food blog with a difference – the recipes shared are your favourite recipes made vegan. I’m currently midway through my own process of going completely plant-based and have found that there’s a lot of misconception around vegan = ultra healthy. This automatically means that a lot of vegan recipes are inaccessible for the random ingredients they’re centred around, yet Cupful of Kale is surprisingly easy to follow and Tamsim’s recipes are simply delicious. I’ve tried two so far and am now an avid subscriber to her blog and follower of her Instagram.
Pint Sized Beauty
Lily’s blog is a firm favourite of mine, firstly for her enviable photography skills and secondly for the diverse range of reviews and content that she offers, making it a read I go back to multiple times a week. Her taste in beauty is impeccable and she’s single-handedly doubled my ‘To Buy’ list! I don’t follow many beauty blogs these days as I’ve found a great rhythm with my own holy grail products, but if I’m seeking advice on a new purchase, Lily is my go-to. Plus, she’s pretty great IRL too!
Alyssa is one of my favourite Instagrammers at the moment and not least because she’s Asian and, therefore, a breath of fresh air for me. Her feed is stunningly curated and she offers a great source of inspiration for coffee shops to visit in New York City. While her feed is, yes, highly polished, her content is pretty relatable and her wardrobe is pretty covet-worthy.
I’m a huge fan of Jordan at the moment. Ever since meeting her at an event more than a year ago, I’ve enjoyed seeing her girly posts pop up on my feed and she continues to up her game with every new photo shared. She manages to perfectly coordinate outfit and location and it’s a joy to browse her photos. Follow her for a dose of magical reality, every day.
Last but not least, I had to shine the light on Grace’s account. I recently invited Grace to guest edit an edition of my newsletter where she shared her fitness journey with my subscribers as well as a free weekly training programme. Her fitness transformation is truly inspiring and who doesn’t love a little inspiration on their feed from time to time? I totally back her ‘strong not skinny’ mantra and I’m positive many of you will too! To receive a resend of the fitness newsletter we sent out, you can subscribe here!
