Today marked the last day of my PR internship at Eyeko. I had such a great time working with the team that I’m genuinely incredibly sad that it’s over! As a sidenote, I realise that my Intern Diaries series stopped briefly but I wanted to focus on producing regular content for Daisybutter whilst getting ready to move back to Southampton(!!) for my second year at University.
My last few days at Eyeko were spent – yep, you guessed it! – organising mail-outs, reaching out to beauty bloggers, and doing a postmortem on our Sticker Competition that’s been running since my internship started. This involved collating the entries, selecting the winner using an online number selector, and creating a report full of the statistics, reach and engagement from the competition. I also wrote some more posts for the Eyeko blog which was super fun! And lastly, I finished booking in sponsors for an upcoming event. So exciting and tiring at the same time. I’m especially proud of how far I’ve come with reaching out to people by phone and email. Our upcoming event is set to be absolutely amazing, but more on that later! 😉
