So let’s cut to the chase: I didn’t wear this outfit today.
I wore a variation of it, sure, but this is a recreation of what I wore in London last week when I visited with one of my best friends. I shared a snippet of it in Sunday’s photo diary and SO many of you wanted to see it in all of its pink glory.

Owl necklace, Bla Bla Bla Shop;
Rings, Dolly Bow Bow & Miss Selfridge;
Nails, Models Own ‘Grace Green’.)
This was possibly the most inappropriate outfit to have worn last week during the storm in London last Thursday. Needless to say, I got absolutely drenched but it was all in good fun!
I also wore my Mulberry Alexa in Petticoat White, sheer black polka dot tights and my little battered tan brogues, which aren’t photographed, but please use your imagination. I don’t wear tights/shoes when I’m indoors and wasn’t going to just for the purpose of these photos!
Sheer tops and a little skirt is a go-to outfit for me, nothing makes me feel happier than wearing a sweet skirt out! I’ve accumulated a lot of these styles of skirts recently, time to branch out? I think so. I really like the khaki green and dusty pink tones together in this outfit.
As you may have noticed yesterday evening, I’ve installed a new layout to the blog. It took a lot of trial and error to get it how it is, and I’m looking to make some extra tweaks here and there. I really like the fresher colour palette, new header and fonts, to blow my own trumpet! Let me know what you think?
I’m popping out to Nando’s with my brother and sister for lunch in a minute. Haven’t been in what feels like months, and I’m too excited! Then I’m hoping to relax and apply for some internships and jobs, plan my dissertation, respond to emails and read in the garden.
I always forget how lovely weekends are when I’m not working 11-hour shifts! How are you spending your Saturdays? And will anyone else be watching the Britain’s Got Talent final tonight? I’m watching purely for Ant, Dec and Michael Mcintyre, the acts this year are cheesetastic!
