Currently spending my Friday in a lazy, hazy state, just the way I like to spend most days.
Things have been far too busy recently, it’s quite nice to take an afternoon or so out just to reevaluate everything and put things in perspective. In between trying to organise a little personal project of mine, applying to internships, cleaning my forever-messy bedroom and hoping someone would bring me a cup of coffee, I knocked up a sweet, ethically-led outfit and decided to photograph it, even though I have no intention of leaving the house.
(Sheer peach blouse, New Look;
Skirt, c/o Annie Greenabelle;
Vintage scarf, Lush;
Owl necklace, Bla Bla Bla Shop;
Secret Garden key double-finger ring, Accessorize;
Nails, ‘Plum’ by E.L.F.)
I can’t believe I’m featuring this blouse yet again, but I do so adore it.
It’s such a flattering and versatile piece! Everyone should own at least one sheer, slightly oversized blouse. Since shooting this outfit, I have cosied myself up in this blouse, black leggings and a cosy chunky knit, bit of a disclaimer there.
The ever lovely Maisie from Annie Greenabelle contacted me last week and provided me with this beautiful skirt from their latest collection. It photographs quite strangely, but looks super sweet and girly in real life. Hate when my amateur skills ruin the sharing of an outfit haha! I love the muted duck egg blue tones against my peach blouse, but can also imagine it with navy/petrol blue, a medium grey cable knit, or with a bright coral colour. So many possibilities!
Annie Greenabelle is an ethical company, supporting Fairtrade-certified and organic cotton. I love the morals and ethics behind the brand, and absolutely adore the latest collection. Annie Greenabelle also stock a limited range of their pieces in Topshop and ASOS.
For more information about Annie Greenabelle, visit their website to see all you need to know. Also, if you would like a copy of their catalogue (and subsequently a £20 off voucher for orders of £45 and over!!), just email your home address and postage details to Joy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Has anyone got any exciting plans for the weekend? I think I’m going to be a total homebody and stay in to save some pennies, although my brother has just asked me if I fancy the cinema tomorrow night. Might also plan out my new bedroom décor, because my life has come down to this type of excitement…
