Happy Summer Solstice, Daisybutter readers!
I’ve been struggling today with an internal battle to spend tonight either doing something fun and memorable, or spend it relaxing because I’m SO exhausted for no apparent reason.
So far so good though. I’ve already woken up early to make the most of the longest day of the year, eaten breakfast, watched a Michael Mcintyre DVD, posted a book review on my Uni blog, and stood outside in the rain snapping outfit photos.

Not much to say today. This is quite frankly a ridiculous outfit for midsummer! It’s cute though, and makes me feel like Sailor Moon, so all worked out well in the end.
I’ve noticed my entire wardrobe and tastes shift recently. I need to have a huge wardrobe overhaul, which I’ll probably do by sorting my wardrobe contents into ‘keep’, ‘eBay’, ‘blog sale’ and ‘charity store’ piles.
I’m excited for AW11, nothing pleases me more than autumnal colours, light layering, chunky knits and the whole laidback feel to autumn dressing. Sorry summer, I’ve already had enough of your bipolar weather!
Still experimenting with my camera for outfit posts, I can’t decide what lighting and aperture is the best show my clothes and outfits in their true nature. Bear with me and the many unfocused shots, while I faff around and try everything out on the blog.
In other less frivolous news, one of my best friends is jetting off to America for a whole 4 months for work experience today. It feels so weird that I won’t see her. My other best friend is currently spending a few days in hospital, I’m a little bit worried about her but we think she’s going to be okay.
Sorry if I’m a bit absent on the ol’ Twitter and that. Going to chain-watch Personal Taste/Preference until I work out what I want to do for the rest of my day!
PS. Booked my midnight showing tickets for Harry Potter in 3D earlier! So excited, although I’m getting a little emotional and teary-eyed already, I’m often a sobbing mess when I see trailers and spoiler clips online!
