Found Harry Potter wand styluses in a vending machine when I went food shopping at Wing Yip with my Dad. I wasn’t impressed when I ended up with Voldemort’s wand – it wasn’t even the Elder Wand! · Went to buy a crazy amount of food with my sister; we debated buying advent calendars just because they were there, but then we remembered… it’s still September · My panic-ordered latte and the best chocolate cupcake for dessert at our LFW bloggers’ dinner on Friday · London skyline a few weeks ago · Me, in my new favourite jumper that I want to wear all the time · A sneak preview of my day one Fashion Week outfit · Little snippet of some of the pieces on display at the J Brand SS12 exhibition, breathtakingly beautiful, simplistic and gorgeous fabrics · My pass which was next to useless! · The set up at IFB x Swarovski: Crystallized event · A snap from the Krystof Stroznya catwalk · My typical blog reading set-up = hundreds of Google Chrome tabs open!
Been the laziest photographer over the last few weeks, and I use the photographer term very, very lightly! I need to get back in the habit of taking my camera out with me, and remembering the battery and my memory card.
Most of this week’s photos are from London, as expected, I did spend more time talking to bloggers, designers and other people than toting my camera around and taking photos of everything, but got a few nonetheless. I just wanted to share some of them for those who want to see a little behind the scenes of my day. I’ll be writing a post about the IFB event (which was so insightful, I’d recommend anyone interested in the mechanics and debates around blogging to go to the next event) and about blogger related shenanigans, because some of it will definitely make for laughs all around.
I posted my first LFW catwalk report/coverage yesterday, thank you to all those who read and commented! So overwhelming and surreal to have covered my first show this season. As all you lovely ladies let me know, Amber Atherton from Made in Chelsea was sat opposite me, and I didn’t even notice, I was completely immersed in the show and trying to balance my belongings! In fact, to put my cultural skills to shame once more, I spent a good twenty minutes or so chatting away to Amber at her jewellery exhibition stand at Somerset House… without realising! Amber is super talented (more in the week!) and stunningly beautiful, I had a lovely conversation with her about our hometowns in Hong Kong, too.
Think I’m back in London for a few bits and bobs next week, but I’m also supposed to be moving back to Uni, so we shall see! Hope everyone is keeping well, I’ve been reading all of your blogs in-between shifts at work and just before bed, and I’ll be back to my usual commenting like a crazy person regime once LFW and moving mayhem calms down. xo
