At the moment, my wardrobe seems to be going through an impromptu overhaul. A year or two ago, you wouldn’t catch me in jeans for love nor money, no siree. I can’t quite remember when or why I stopped wearing jeans: something tells me it was to force myself to be more creative with my outfits, but I think we can safely say it was because I’m far too lazy to take myself jeans shopping to add to my collection! Paired my all-time favourite jeans – I’ve had these since my first year of A-level-ness – with ‘that’ jersey Topshop playsuit for something that felt retro and summery. Don’t ask how I managed to squeeze a playsuit into jeans, it isn’t a pretty tale!
Over the weekend, I made a super organised calendar-esque plan for the month ahead, and it is packed to say the least! I’ll be in London three times or so this coming week for various events and launches, which I’m excited to share with you all. Also planned to go to the fashion bloggers talk (or something of the sort) at the V&A on Friday, is anyone else planning to go?! At the weekend, I’ll be jetting off back to Southampton, and then madness will ensure. I’ve also slotted in set days that I want to blog though, so hopefully this little blog won’t suffer from my plans to enter library hibernation!
Also, a huge thank you to those who left a comment on my post yesterday! In case you haven’t spotted my replies, I typically find that curls hold well in my hair, but I do help it on its’ way with a small amount of matte hair clay (my favourite is Sebastian Crude Clay, or the grey Gatsby one) which I run and scrunch through my hair to add texture and definition. I spray a very light amount of hairspray all over, and then in the morning, it gives me hair like here, today. ♥
