Can’t quite decide whether letting myself browse the Topshop website was a good or bad idea in hindsight: on one hand, it’s a great little motivator when your basket is filled with potential buys, and on the other, it kinda kills your soul a little when you realise that £196 on five items is a teeny bit out of reach. I have a love/hate relationship of the most extreme sorts with Topshop, I either want everything – keep reading and see below – or shudder at sugar skulls that wouldn’t suit me at all. I digress.
I’m in love with these flock spot trousers at the moment. Liv and Aisling both have the green and black pair, which looked awful with my pale olive skintone, but these I can get on with. They’d be perfect with the little lace, sweetheart top and heart trim sandals, no? Although if I did suddenly lose the plot and buy them, in reality I’d be wearing them with my faithful moccassins (also Topshop…) and some form of knitwear with a rainproof something over the top. April showers, I’ve quite about had enough of you and your outfit ruining ways!
Tried this tweed boyfriend coat on the other week, when I went shopping with my Mum and sister, and it completely swamped me. Going to be brave, leave my purse at home, and try the petite on in store and look at things objectively before I add another jacket to my collection. Sensible shopping, Michelle…
Do you find that Topshop stocks polar opposites of clothes too? What are you coveting for your Spring/Summer wardrobe, if you can see it past all of the drought-infused rain? (I don’t understand it either.) ♥
