I’ve been a little bit absent from this little corner of the blogging community recently, for no particular reason other than deciding to embrace real-life a little bit more. Fear not though, I do have a list of posts that I want to write, finish and edit coming up – it’s just finding the time to do so! I might even find space in my non-existent blogging schedule to post a little catch-up photo diary of things I’ve been doing away from my laptop.
Yesterday Aisling, Elodie and I went to a press screening of Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel in Soho, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was a documentary-esque film of Vreeland’s life and career, and from a budding fashion editor’s POV, it was funny, enlightening and quite motivating to view. I’ve popped the trailer below – for those of you who enjoyed The September Issue and Coco Before Chanel, this’ll be just your thing.
Anyway, I’ve shaken up the layout of this partway outfit post today. A pretty lacklustre and weather-inappropriate outfit (hello Indian summer day in September once again!) but one that was snapped, inpromptu, at Piccadilly Circus by Vincent of 365 Strangers. The black tutu-esque skirt is from ‘that’ ridiculously bargainous H&M skirt, and I threw a huge jumper over the top to ease me into Monday. Also paired with my Merlot smoking slippers and favourite Luella leather tote. Vincent’s street style project involves photographing stylish strangers around London, along with a fun hand-a-question-to-the-next-person task. So if you were accosted by Vincent and were asked ‘What’s your favourite place beginning with a B?’… er, yeah, that was my question. You can catch my cameo appearance on 365 Strangers later this week!
Tonight I’m off to the MyCelebrityFashion relaunch party with a plethora of blogging dolls, catch you on Instagram (@winyeemichelle) and Twitter to share the goodness? ♥
