Wahaca is easily one of my favourite ‘chain’ restaurants for when I’m at a loss of what else to eat. It’s a pretty failsafe option if you like Mexican food that has a touch of spice, and even if not, I’m 99.9% certain that the desserts make up for it! It’s also become somewhat of a bloggers’ hotspot with locations dotted around Central London, making it perfect for after-events.
What (Aisling, Elodie, Hannah and) I Ordered:
– Pork pibil tacos
– Grilled steak tacos with grilled cheese and salsa
– Chicken guajillo tostadas
– Chicken taquitos
– Sweet potato and feta taquitos
– Chipotle chicken quesadillas
– Salted caramel ice cream
(………. sorry, not sorry.)
From this particular Dream Team Dining session, I’d recommend the Sweet Potato and Feta Taquitos, the Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla and Grilled Steak Tacos (always!). I tend to lean towards ordering a mixture of dishes with the spicer plates being eaten first and something lighter and cooler like the Chicken Guajillo Tostados to finish. I would always always recommend their Churros, and I think Sarah and I would easily live off them if it wasn’t for a risk of becoming a stick of dough… I’d also recommend that Lily invested in a Mulberry Lily…!
In other unrelated news, I’m starting to delve into new content for the ol’ blog! Basically, working full-time – although freelance – means I don’t get to blog full outfit posts as often as I’d like, but on my lonesome lunch breaks, I’ve sketched out ideas for fashion (still relatively outfit based, still me!), technology and food posts too. Fingers crossed you don’t mind, but just a heads up of new things to come for Daisybutter! Today I’m off to London to shoot for the Rock Your Hair event – so excited/nervous! ♥
