Currently feeling just a little guilty for taking an entire week out from my blog and most things Internet related, but mostly feeling more than inspired and ready to share lots of new things with you all. A huge thank you to everyone who mentioned me in the blogger love/inspire chat a few Sundays ago too, you absolutely made my day. *group hug* If you haven’t already, go and have a read of my girl Ella’s blog post from last week – it’s perfect for this time of year.
I wore this outfit last Wednesday when Kristabel and I rubbed shoulders with Hilary Alexander, the MIC girls, and Peaches and Pixie Geldof, to celebrate Diet Coke’s 30th birthday at Sketch in London. I couldn’t help but throw the outfit back on and take a walk with my camera in tow to take some photos though. Oh the life of a fashion blogger…! This scallop edge dress is from my faithful Topshop: truth be told, I haven’t been too in love with Topshop as of late, but on a late night window shopping browse (not really – if I recall correctly, it was like, 8pm!), this ended up in my basket accidentally on purpose. I passed it off as a LFW essential! I teamed it with my knitted chevron pattern tights which always draw a love-hate debate, my Linzi Shoes stack heel boots, and a necklace that I acquired from my days of working in an independent jewellery shop.
In other less self-indulgent news, number one – how good is BoA’s new single, Disturbance?! Seriously cannot stop listening to that on repeat. Number two – I have a rediscovered affinity for full fat Coke, so I guess that’s one of my 2013 goals halfway undone… and number three – I do so hope you’re all having a lovely Monday! x
