See by Chloé Eau de Parfum, £38.50.
See by Chloé is a fragrance that I saw plastered on adverts absolutely everywhere. It even featured in the advertising spaces on Daisybutter for a while, but of course, I’m not affiliated with Chloé in any way – I wish!
To cut a long story short, a few weeks ago I popped to Boots to indulge in a little retail therapy and left with my Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Enchanted bottle in one hand and a bottle of See by Chloé in the other.
The fragrance is absolutely perfect for the summer. Very light and fruity-floral with a hint of musk for that wearable, feminine allure. I don’t tend to go for overpowering scents (for reference, Givenchy’s Dahlia Noir is a little heavy and heady for my tastes) so this is pretty ideal. I only picked up the 30ml, but can tell I’ll be snapping up another bottle or two before the summer months end.
Notes include: jasmine, ylang-ylang, bergamot, apple blossom, vanilla, musk and sandalwood.
Presentation-wise, I am in love with the faceted glass bottle, sleek cap and tiny gold loop at the top, with a sliver of pink lettering. It looks perfect on my dressing table alongside my other fragrances and is one I reach for at least three times a week. I’d highly recommend having a little sniff of this when you next visit the beauty counters.
