one. First things first, welcome to the revamped Daisybutter! It’s been a long time coming and I worked closely with Grace of Urban Hype Designs to create this version. I’m still working on adding some features to it but for the most part, here we are at refresh numero four. I’ve written a full post about it here if you missed it last night, and I’m also now offering independent advertising again!
two. This week I’ve been even more addicted to Instagram than usual (I’m @winyeemichelle on there!). There’s something seriously endearing about square shaped photos, throwback Thursday (my favourite regular social media ‘thing’) and being able to scroll through the week in photos when life moves SO quickly. It was two years this week since my Grandad passed away yet sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. Miss you G’dad, let’s go and feed monkeys on the hill again soon. ♥
three. G-Dragon/Kwon Jiyong finally released his new album this week and, erm, can you spell obsessed? I haven’t stopped listening to Coup D’Etat since I got my hands on it. My particular favourite is ‘Crooked‘ of course, especially as the MV was filmed in East London, and the lyrics are so heartbreakingly perfect.
four. I bought the best ever jacket from River Island yesterday (this one here!). Nearly three months of invoices being paid to me meant reckless spending and whilst quite restrained – for now – I couldn’t resist splurging as I’ll be able to wear it to LFW next week! Oversized kimono inspired shapes, be mine. Speaking of incessant spending, Aisling and I went to Selfridges on Thursday night and I may or may not be picking up a very extravagant purchase on Tuesday! Watch this space…
five. Finally, I’m loving the September sunsets and tracking the shorter evenings. Went for a little lake side walk with one of my favourite people on Tuesday evening to unwind from work stresses and reminisce on six years since we’d met each other. Gawd we’re getting old! But yes – 8:20pm sunsets are a thing again now, and I’m trying to hold on to my favourite season whilst it lasts. x
