First up, I’m pretty much in love with the Check Borg Collar Coat (£79) by Miss Selfridge. I know I know, we’ve all been pretty taken by those Pygmy Puff-esque powder pink coats as of late, but this number has utterly stolen my heart and is so perfectly wearable. I can also see my wardrobe deepening into those warm creams, forest greens and soft taupes as the weather turns. The silk shirt (£65) and cropped jumper (£55) by And Other Stories look so dreamy – potentially a payday treat if I’m feeling cold enough, eh?
Accessories wise, I think I can safely throw these CHANEL Patent Calfskin Ankle Boots (£775) in the mix without any fear of an accidental purchase. They’re so dreamy with just enough heel height and detailing, and, y’know, now that I think about it, they’re kinda more affordable than my newest Mulberry addition. Now there’s some food for thought… Enable me guys! (Don’t.) I’m also still lusting after a Proenza Schouler number despite indulging in a Mulbs alternative. This Mini is absolutely perfect, grey leather looks timeless and new all at the same time.
Finally, Jessica alerted me to the fact that there’s a new Murakami tome in the works! Winging its’ way to English readers early next year, it’s about time I prepared myself by reading another of his works that I’ve been meaning to sample for months. Anyone got any thoughts on ‘The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle‘?
