Honest is one of the most talked about London burger places. Inspired by ‘great British produce’, they have branches across the city in Brixton, Camden, Kings Cross, Portobello and Soho, making it relatively easy to get a seat.
What I Ordered:
– Cheese burger with a gluten-free bun (£8.50 inc. chips)
– House chips with rosemary salt
– A classic Coke! (£1.50)
Across the board, we ordered a variety of burgers and the Dream Team girls can all confirm they’re worth the hype. My Honest burger boasted beef, red onion relish and lettuce with mature cheddar. I opted for a gluten-free bun which was surprisingly good too! Quite a hardy, crusty bun but with plenty of flavour and bite. The rosemary salt chips that come with every meal were absolutely heavenly: whilst they got a bit too salty and much, we all happily scoffed away at every last one.
Elodie confirms that the Chicken burger with a side of salad was very nice, not too dry and perfectly cooked. Ideal for those January detoxers! Hannah and Lily shared beetroot and apple coleslaw which was similarly flavoursome and a nice accompaniment to SO MUCH MEAT. Our conclusion? Well worth a visit.
