Grey Leather Pencil Case, Liberty (£21.95) – Somewhat of a beautiful unnecessary, I haven’t used a pencil case since my secondary school days. But perhaps a new job will bring a new habit, seeing as I’ve got this ridiculous ‘thing’ for only using my own pens. I can’t just use any old pen, y’know. Weird habit.
Plisse White Nail Colour, & Other Stories (£5) – I really favour a clean, fresh nail colour after the darker part of the winter. January means a new start and this Plisse White hue is literally breathtaking. Perfect for a careful sweep across each nail.
Black Floral Embroidered Smock Dress, Ever Ours (£25) – I’ve been eyeing this smock over at Kim’s boutique for absolutely ages and it might be time to buy into it! A figure skimming choice with a bolder base, I can see this looking’ good with a low denier tight and some simple brogues for the office. Thank God for casual-chic offices.
Motorcycle Jacket with Zips, Zara (£69.99) – Ever since Gem’s hen weekend and spying Emma’s gorgeous leather jacket, I’ve been hankering for one of my own. I’ve never been a leather jacket kinda gal but they add SO much to an outfit without actually having to do too much. Perfect for covering up on the short walk to my car and back!
Equipment Reese Striped Washed-Silk Shirt, Net-A-Porter (£285) – Equipment is one of those brands that I love to spend quieter evenings scrolling through. Their shirts are buttery soft and oh so light, and it might be about time that I added to my collection of collared sartorial choices, eh?
Molly Hatch Desk Clock, Anthropologie (£22) – OK so this is a completely gratuitous wish. A desk clock. I’m really into personable touches for my desks. My desk at Arcadia often housed paper animals, party hats, notes from colleagues and, last month, a mini Christmas tree! This clock is perfect for meeting deadlines – facts about Mish: I can never keep track of the time when it glares at me from a computer screen.
