And I’m not just talking about that precarious slap-on-the-wrist method of swizzing three shirts to one hanger either. I was once an avid fan of layering things up in my outfits, but that dissipated once I a) moved home from Uni and got to experience real heating again, and b) got real lazy with getting dressed. Hey — it happens.
This is something I wore for the first time a few weeks ago, but I just round to re-shooting it. A slice of mint green in another camisole, an unbuttoned denim shirt and my very favourite eyelash lace trim shorts by Zara. I love the contrast of the paler colour and dark dark hues, and the crazy lengths keep things just about right, too. There’s really something to be said about trying out new combinations and straying away from simply putting a top and jeans on.
Tonight we’re heading to my Granny’s for our Chinese New Year feast. Homecooked goods, traditional sweet treats and baby cuddles are all on the menu! Chinese New Year is a bit of a mixed bag for us this year as my parents are too busy to leave the restaurant. We’re spending the actual day (tomorrow) at home, and then I’m rushing away on Sunday for Taylor Swift! Unconventional, but hey. Tonight we’re also having ‘that’ orange bath and refreshing the house ready to bring in a new Lunar Year. (:
