Essaouira, Morocco was the perfect escape during the lagging end of winter. Truly more picturesque than I could’ve imagined, I took over a hundred photos during our holiday hence the multiple posts! Enjoy this last segment with the bonus vlog and don’t forget to check my other posts as well as the girls’ coverage to see every part and every angle (all links open in new tabs):

I fell in love with the beautiful tiles, colours and architecture in the Medina. And so here’s a snap of me looking pensive and like I’m totally not posing for Sarah’s camera.
When bloggers are let out in the Great Outdoors, this is what happens. We then spent some time wandering the souks led to seeing plenty of handcrafted wares in the form of ceramics, lanterns, paintings and more.
We sat by the seafront and beach and enjoyed a fresh seafood lunch. We also saw camels and jumped around like loons on the wet sand.
Visiting an Argan Oil Co-operative was super interesting and insightful: all you beauty bloggers would’ve had the time of your lives! The co-operative brings divorced or widowed women together to create argan oil wares – both beauty and edible ones! – which I thought was amazing. From cracking open the nuts to blending them in the ceramic turnstile, we got to see how the oils are made and what they’re used for, as well as all of us getting in on the haul hype.
A few sneaky snaps on another jaunt out, featuring ‘my’ stray cat that Sarah quickly christened Bert. See also: my pretty new leather satchel/camera bag!
Woodwork and painting is core to Essaouira’s talented locals, adding to the rustic charm of the sleepy little fishing town.
Sarah looking like a babe, along with the other girls and I looking super windswept. Fashion bloggers uncut! I don’t think I’d ever tire of exploring the nooks in the Medina and old castle. So much to see and be inspired by.
An obligatory selection of candids from the riad, including moi cooking, what I took to wear on my face, behind the scenes at City Girl’s Fashion Box and some downtime in between shooting outfit photos for each other. By the way, if you were in ever in doubt, holidaying with four of your best blogging friends is every part as fun as you’d imagine!
All too soon it was time for me to don my new heeled sandals, crack open a San Miguel, chow down on some amazing local cuisine, watch another stunning sunset with my beautiful friends and wave farewell to Morocco before returning to humble ol’ London. x
