Repulse Bay Beach is one of the most beautiful in Hong Kong. Surrounded by towering houses and high rise apartments alike, it’s a cosy hub of expats, tourists, retirees and locals with beautiful views and it’s just a short bus ride away from Stanley. (I’ll share a post about there soon, too!) It makes perfect sense to shimmy in a little beachside shopping centre – c’mon, we are in Hong Kong after all – with a plethora of cool eats.
I’ve eaten here 3 or 4 times already but failed to snap any photos. I truly recommend their tuno tartare though!
On this occasion, we opted for the Potato Salad, calamari and crab guacamole with tortilla chips. Just a few light bites before we hit the beach for a spot of sunbathing, 1989 listening and selca time (: For that, I think Limewood is a really well-rounded restaurant. It absolutely hit the spot for our light lunch on a scorcher of a day, perfectly set off by cocktails. The potato salad is my favourite thing ever. I order it every time I go! I loved the calamari too – always a winner it seems, but the batter was light and crispy and the dressing was flavourful and just a little somethin’ different.
If you have a beach trip planned, save the sandwiches for another time and spend a little extra here; it’ll pave the way for an amazing beach day!
