A sleepy Sunday catch-up.

一. Y’know, I try my hardest to do these weekly but somehow time runs away with me and I don’t know where a casual three weeks disappeared to. Hm. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks around these parts! I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders but also like I’m so busy I barely have time to breathe. I think this is when I’m at my best though, so let’s not complain, eh?! Having said that, I’ve been so so ill since Wednesday night and I’m currently holed up in bed trying to decide if I’m feverish or freezing whilst nursing a gross cough.

二. I baked these chocolate fudge brownies last weekend! So so good and I tweaked the recipe to my own preference (a.k.a. for those that like a bit of bite and squelchy softness with their brownies!). Currently really into dessert toppings too, but more on this whole debacle soon, I promise. Also clearly very into my 50mm lens again 😉

三. Some of my family from Malaysia came to visit me late last week. It’s so fun/cool to have them so close by (well, a four-hour flight is nothing compared to seven, eh?) and I’m still not really used to it! Had fun taking photos of the infamous city skyline and then taking a day trip out of the country to Macau. Honestly, there ain’t no time like Chai time.

四. So we’ve passed the 100-day countdown until I hit home shores for some Christmas lovin’! I think I’m finally over my bout of homesickness that gripped me with a hundred hands last month. Nevertheless, I’m already looking forward to a post-flight LUSH bath, sister dates with Louise, forcing my brother to drive me places because I’m now car-less and squeezing the heck out of my best friends. Also really excited about being reunited with my Mamabear and my little baby tortoises – I haven’t seen her or my babies in almost a year! It’s so true when they say you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.

五. Went to a Chanel beauty studio meeting yesterday and got to play around with their new collection. Everything looks insanely good! I might share a post about it if anybody’s interested? Of course you’re interested, it’s Chanel. Dreamy.
