Welcome to festive gifting week at Daisybutter! It’s the most wonderful time of the year once again, and I’m excited to unveil a week’s worth of personalised gift guides for the most special people in your life. This year, I want to kick-start the series with my favourite guide: stocking fillers and little luxuries to craft best friend hampers.
I’m not a one-gift girl. I adore nothing more than creating hampers of little treats, taking time to pick things that resonate with each pal, and so I thought I’d share my pick of gifts so you can do the same. Not into hampers? They’ll also make brilliant stocking fillers!
For friends that are planning to move to London or who simply adore the city, the London Letters Card Book is a stunning, illustrated tome of 26 neighbourhood maps by Lucy Loves This, much-lauded illustrator. I shared her work over on my Instagram earlier in the month and you can still enter the giveaway to win a copy as well as an exclusive enamel pin. It makes a great keepsake and the maps can even be framed, if they so wish! I also really like Happiful, the only UK magazine devoted to mental health. They’re offering an exclusive discount on a 6-month subscription: simply enter HAPPIXMAS at checkout.
I’ve been obsessed with my Só Soy candle ever since coming home from Northern Ireland. I picked up a large candle, hand-poured in a studio just 10 minutes’ walk from the Giant’s Causeway, as well as a few wax melts, and it is the most heavenly, warming yet sweet fragrance. A jar of this would be a dream addition to any hamper. If your pal is more of a plants enthusiast, then the Glass Plant Mister is a luxe novelty for keeping succulents hydrated. Isn’t it beautiful? And for the mate that’s Pilates-obsessed or is hoping to join the gym in the New Year, how about this handy Pretty Athletic cool down kit? The team sent me one to try and it’s been a great kit to keep in my gym bag, particularly as I’m a morning gym-goer.
Can we take a moment to talk about how cute this Tea Infuser is?! It’d be perfect for any tea enthusiast, and I can already see this peppering everybody’s cosy Christmas Instagram photos.
The incredible team at BOD have released these fun Mulled Wine Bath Salts. You’re supposed to soak in them for 20 minutes to unveil brighter skin, and if the Mermaid Prep Bath Salts are anything to go by (they’re always in my bathtime stash!), they’re going to be good.
