Although Lunar New Year is well and truly gone, the mindset and rituals of the holiday still hang around and our house is certainly still feeling festive.
Much like the traditional New Year, it’s been an apt time to spend a few moments taking stock and doing a little journalling. I felt pretty overwhelmed throughout the month of January, and as such it’s been nice to unpack my thoughts into my bullet journal.
I don’t have any hard and fast rules with journalling: I tend to write down anything floating around (worries, niggles, random lines of copy…!), doodle a little and make things pretty with markers and stickers.
This month, though, Stampin’ Up kindly sent over a box of crafting goodies. They’ve released a limited edition ‘This Little Piggie’ stamping box to celebrate the Year of the Pig and it is admittedly adorable. Inside, you’ll find wooden blocks and sticky-back rubber stamps to bring a super old-school crafting vibe, and they’ve totally hit the spot for adding something a little different to my February pages.
Plus, I also used the stamps to make little celebration cards to pop in my neighbours’ letterboxes. So cute!
