These brownies are packed with flavour and protein goodness. Perfect as a post-workout snack or just as a treat! They can be frozen for up to 2 months and last around a week in the fridge.
Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 9 squares
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups nut butter (peanut/almond/cashew)
  • ½ cup protein powder
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • Optional: 1 generous drizzle Sweet Freedom Choc Shot
  1. Preheat your oven to 180˚C. Grease a brownie baking tray or line with greaseproof paper.
  2. Mash your ripe bananas. Overripe bananas are best, although it's fine to pop them in the microwave for a few seconds too!
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the bananas and nut butter until smooth.
  4. Sift your dry ingredients in and fold in until a batter forms.
  5. Optional: Drizzle in some Sweet Freedom Choc Shot for a rich chocolatey taste.
  6. Bake for 18 minutes.
  7. Bring out to cool and then cut into 9 pieces.
