Some April Inspiration

So far in 2024, I’ve noticed that more of us are seeking the new start feeling. From the usual flurry of excitement for the New Year to the widespread joy before Lunar New Year, and even for the start of spring, it feels like many of us have felt discombobulated. But, that doesn’t mean anything sinister. Perhaps we’re all needing signs from nature to get ourselves back in a positive mindset.

I love Pinterest as much as the next millennial woman and, for a few years now, have loved making monthly boards to inspire myself with plans, recipes, outfits, colours and a general mood. With proper spring days coming for us left, right and centre, I thought I’d share my inspiration for the month of April.

Apple green and tulip pink. Woodland walks. Pea and asparagus risotto. Late afternoon sun shadows. Vanilla. Bowlfuls of spaghetti, topped with Julienne Bruno vegan burrata. Books under blankets. Light layers. Taylor Swift’s TTPD. Running ‘round the big field. Pale blue denim. Cropped blazers. Coffee dates beneath a parasol outside little cafés. Sundays spent making pestos, pasta sauces and prepping veggies from scratch. Simple garden DIYs. 15-minute Pilates mornings. Pastel-tipped French manicures.
