Petite joys

That aside, it’s time to reflect on the smaller things in my world. There’s a lot to be said for appreciating the smaller, not necessarily finer details of the everyday mundane. Here’s to another list of petite joys, the moments that’ve brought and woven poetry to my days, this week:

一. Overwhelming gratitude for the online community we’ve built here. It was incredibly heart-warming to browse my phone on Tuesday and read such wonderful comments, and throughout the week I’ve felt SO happy to log onto any of my social platforms.
二. This beautiful bracelet from Sacet! I was gifted this a few weeks ago and it’s barely left my wrist since. In fact, I’ve even briefly retired my beloved white gold charm bracelet in order to show this beautiful Marque bracelet off in its’ full glory. What I adore most about Sacet is how each of their pieces comes presented beautifully and with a selection of cards that tell you all about the journey of your new jewellery – who set the stones, who sourced the stones, who polished the sterling silver chain, etc. I have really small wrists and so I adore that they offer a shorter chain, too.
三. Finally being able to eat properly again because my gross mouth ulcer has healed!
四. Revelling in a post-book reading hangover.
五. Watching Milo and Pixie (Harvey’s family dog) play together. They always gaze as each other so lovingly, and it’s made me totally want a little puppy friend for Milo.
六. Nailing our new routine at Barre and not needing to pause for a break.
七. A particularly delicious morning coffee, with almond milk swirled in.
八. My business being completely booked up for another month! Begone, self-employed anxiety!
九. Finding a big enough pocket of time to creatively plan the next month or so of editorial content on Daisybutter.
十. Rain tip-tapping on the windowpanes when I’ve no plans in the diary. Bliss.
