Sundaze 103

I feel like all of my blog posts this week have opened with the same sentiment, but I simply can’t believe it has been an entire month since my last Sundaze entry. More to the point, I can’t believe there is just one more week until Christmas! I think this is the first year in a long time where I’ve not managed to hone in on all of the festive goodness.

Today I’m in London to hang with not one but TWO groups of my blogging gals. This morning I’m brunching with Ghenet, Kristabel and Lucy and I are exchanging our Secret Santa gifts, and then later I’ll be enjoying afternoon tea at the Dominique Ansel bakery with Elodie, Hannah, Sarah and Sophie for our annual gift exchange and to celebrate Sarah’s birthday! Whew! I might have missed out on a chunk of ‘grammable Christmas content, but you can’t say I’m not making up for lost time. I can’t wait to catch up with everyone, and see Elodie for the first time in months as she’s been conquering Seoul one bangin’ coffee at a time.

Last-minute Christmas shopping

This week has mostly been about navigating jet lag as I arrived home on Monday following almost 27 hours of travelling. But it’s also been about Christmas shopping, as prior to Tuesday, I hadn’t even managed to pick up one present! Thankfully I’m beginning to feel a little more on top of things now and only have a handful more gifts to buy, wrap and deliver.

I’ve mostly been rummaging through my favourite bloggers’ annual gift guides as they’re all packed with such amazing picks! On Wednesday we headed to nearby St. Albans for a spot of shopping where we were shocked to the core by how cold it’s gotten in England! This gal has been enjoying 34˚ weather, thank you very much.

Back to the gym

On Thursday I very optimistically booked a Barre class, my first in a month. Bearing in mind I haven’t visited a gym once in the past four weeks, it was a stretch at best! But I somehow got through the class and only felt achy in five places the next day. And then… back to the gym! It felt so good to hit the gym, work up a stretch and navigate weight training after a seriously long break.

What I’ve learned? I just love going to the gym! I shared my ‘First Day Back’ workout on Instagram Stories too, just tap the Fitness Highlight to see it.

My new e-book!!

Lastly, thank you SO much for supporting me in my newest venture. It’s been humbling to see your orders trickle in and I celebrate every single time one comes through!

The Tartle Guide to Freelancing and Making It Work is a guide to identifying your passion, turning it into a side hustle and showing you how to take it full time, successfully. I also share my complete resource toolkit and give in-depth notes about the money side of things.

I began writing this e-book months ago, and I am incredibly pleased with how it turned out. It’s available for both Kindle and popular reading devices, as well as for iPad and Android tablets, and you can pick it up on the Tartle Copywriting website.
