Sundaze 247: Busy Days and First Trip of 2023
After a packed week and busier weekend, I couldn’t be happier to be sat tucked up at home, my Overose Pain au Chocolate candle flickering beside me and with a photo album of photos to sort through. Guess that means my blogging bug is finally back! In fact, I even snapped enough photos to share a mini Bath photo diary/travel guide, which will be landing on Daisybutter soon.

Busy days
This week, I really jumped headfirst back into a wildly busy work life. Between our spring campaign, Lunar New Year, Valentine’s Day and Paris Fashion Week, it’s been a very full-on return to work and I wouldn’t have it any other way. As such, I had more-days-than-usual in London, which tired me out to no end. When I know I have a lot scheduled in my week, I like to carve out some extra time for self-care. Last weekend I made sure I prepped all of my lunch boxes, practiced Pilates at home, watched some K-dramas and read. Tonight? More of the same.
New habits
We’re two weeks into 2023 and I’ve already kept up with one of the few goals I’d noted down for myself: practice Pilates once a week or fortnight. My gym doesn’t run any Pilates classes, and my old studio relocated, so I’m currently following Pilates With Raven videos and live workouts on YouTube – yes, the Raven from Love Is Blind! They’re great, even in comparison to the in-person classes I did for years. And hopefully I’ll be able to locate a great class IRL, soon.

Our weekend in Bath
We got back from a weekend in Bath this afternoon, hence the late post today. It was part of my gift to my boyfriend for Christmas, and we had a dreamy pair of days away. The city is just beautiful and we had a relaxed time exploring, pottering and reading, just the way we like to travel. I’m planning on sharing a full photo diary and travel guide hybrid in a few weeks’ time, so keep an eye out for that.
