Journalling Prompts for the New Year Start

I know, I know… This likely isn’t the most original post in your blog-reading feeds today.
The New Year start is prime time for beginning fresh habits or refreshing old ones. One of these habits is often journalling and simply becoming more mindful and tuned into oneself. I’ve been a keen journal fan for years, so I like to use the New Year to dig a little further and get myself in a clearer headspace for the 12 months ahead. I’m a firm believer that you can start new habits and work towards your goals at any time in the year, but there’s no doubt that January does feel like a lovely clean slate. I know that I’m personally picking up some of the things that I’d dropped a little during December, when I was unwell and then busy with all things Christmas season!
For those of you sat with your emotional support notebooks beside you, here are 12 introspective and inspiring journalling prompts for the New Year start:

- What are you ready to let go of? Write down what immediately comes to mind.
- How can you practice more gratitude in 2024?
- What is one habit you’d like to focus on maintaining?
