Céline Trio Musings part ii.
Welcome the newest bag to the Daisybutter wardrobe. My beautiful red Céline Trio!
Many weeks of saving later, flanked by four of my best friends, I finally surrendered to my handbag obsession and bought my Céline Trio. Slightly overdone on the Internet, I set my sights on this mini bag more than a year ago to be used as an on-the-go bag that can be grabbed for running errands or for carrying the essentials for an evening out. If you’ve been hankering for the same bag, you’ll already know that the information available about this bag online is scarce and difficult to sift through – #MichelleProblems – and so here is a little post to introduce the bag to you.
Mini essential
I finally settled on the smaller size (£630, March 2014) after trying the larger version on (£730), simply because it fitted my frame a little better. For reference, I’m 5’3 and am pretty petite overall! It has just enough room, divided into three detachable pouches, to hold all of my everyday essentials. My iPod Touch, phone, credit card holder and keys all slot neatly into the compartments, and I’ve also test-run it for fitting my Nintendo 3DS XL in. Perfect.
The Details
The bag is crafted from lambskin leather with gold hardware and can be unbuttoned to create clutch bags, but I much prefer it with all three parts attached. Inside is a brushed self-fabric lining to keep your belongings safe and protected. Sleek, structured and minimal, I can’t wait to spend my 2014 with her, not to mention I opted for red, the luckiest colour of them all!
Finally, as I know you’ll ask, I purchased mine in Selfridges London – the concession is up on the 3rd floor – and the assistants were other-worldly friendly. Such chic enablers!
