Sundaze 137

Guys, I can’t even begin to explain to you how great it feels to be cosied up on my sofa, tapping away at this Sundaze post. It feels really REALLY good to be back on the blog and I feel refreshing, rejuvenated and raring to go with lots of new content. I’ve even spent today working on some passion projects in the background — I know! Ya girl is back to her sparkling best once more! It’s crazy how a little sea air and rest can totally transform your creativity and top up those energy levels.

We’re home!

It feels like we landed to the most delicious part of autumn. Crisp, colourful and cosy, I’ve relished finishing work and swishing my boots through the leaves, gazing up at darkening skies and poring through the books on my bedside table. I actually took Monday off, after landing on Sunday, so I could run some errands and sort my life out (you know what I mean, I’m sure) post-flight.

We shot these wonderfully autumnal photos whilst running errands. Louise and I couldn’t resist! I’m just obsessed with them, and the Everlane Cheeky Jeans!! A total dream and so worth the investment. Can’t wait to try more from this ever-popular sustainable brand.

New rhythms

Now that I’m back from our beyond-great trip to Rhodes, I’m thrilled to be in a new working rhythm. I noted a few weeks ago that I’d pitched to my current retainer client for a change of pace, and I’m now dividing my week between London and my old working-from-home set-up.

I’m ecstatic and I’ve already had THE most productive week. It’ll be great across my roster of clients, and it’ll give me some time to shoot for the blog and Instagram as well — although this blog isn’t my job by any stretch of the imagination, I always feel happier when I’ve managed to spend some time working ‘properly’ on it.

Let the packing madness commence

Finally — because I actually need to sign off and get back to what I was doing… — packing madness has begun at Chez Chai! We’re actually in a bit of a pickle with the whole moving debacle but that’s a private story for another day. The long and short of it is that we’re a few short weeks away from leaving this beautiful house and we’re thoroughly unprepared. As soon as I finished work today, I started my own packing process and I’ve packed up my summer wardrobe and cleared three drawers. I’m also going to be popping a few pieces up on Depop, so be sure to follow me on there to see what I’m selling! There’ll be some barely worn coats and ‘collectible’ clothing that I no longer wear.
