Sundaze 218
I’m not sure how the weeks just run away from us lately. I just noticed that I’ve missed the past couple of Sundaze posts, too! It’s certainly been a busy time with plenty of projects to juggle, but I’m really happy and content. And, for the first time in a while, I’m savouring keeping all the best bits to myself.
My week has been a blissful, balanced haze of K-drama watching, reading, Barre classes, cooking, walks and prioritising time with friends offline. That’s exactly how things should be.
Embracing downtime
I missed last weekend’s Sundaze post for no reason other than I’d stretched myself far too thinly, and this week I was determined to feel a little more balanced. Thankfully with the latest & Chai product drop complete, a quieter work week and a smidgen less on my schedule, I’ve done just that. I’ve read plenty, scheduled in workouts, caught up with Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and even clawed back my ‘normal’ sleep routine. If the past two years taught me nothing else, at least I’ve learned what my limitations are and how to get that energy balance going well.
THAT Animal Crossing Direct
Welp, Nintendo served with the Animal Crossing Direct on Friday afternoon.
I gasped, cried, laughed and could not stop freakin’ out about all of the good things that are coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons next month. In just three short weeks, we’ll have vegetable farming, cooking, elevated interior decorating, Brewster and The Roost(!!) and a whole Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise DLC to enjoy! I had the best time dissecting all of the content over on my Discord server – come and join us for all things ACNH, cosy gaming and more. Our Discord is an extension of all the things I chat about on here and Instagram, but with a more personal, conversational feel.
Autumnal strolls at the lake
Mid-October always feels like the autumn sweet spot. The October sunlight is unbeatable, there’s the odd warm day, the leaves are changing, and it’s definitely still transitional dressing weather. So my sister and I have been doing our best to head to the lake to soak up these comfy fall days before the British weather really turns on us.
